While web browsers are ending support for the Flash plugin, Adobe Animate isn't going away as an animation tool you just won't upload your work in. If you're interested in getting into animation, the two most common tools used to make 2D animation are Adobe Animate (formerly Flash) and Toon Boom Harmony. Time flies and people come and go so it's good to revisit these topics regularly.
I'm gonna talk about some things that might be old news to some of you but illuminating to others.
