But it focuses on providing more content in the form of units, armies, and regions, related to the period that ranges between the second half of the XIX century up until the First World War. * Work together or in competition to dominate the entire Empire campaign map. Victoria: Total War is a remaster of the original Empire: Total War game using the same base engine of Empire. * Fight against far improved AI nations, overhauled by update 1.5. * Play on the entire Empire campaign map (All 3 theatres) against another player.
While the beta is focused on versus combat, there is an option for "comp stomping." Sega has announced the open beta of Empire: Total War'smultiplayer campaign.
